If your item arrives damaged, doesn’t match the listing description, or is the wrong item, you can return it for a refund within 7 days.

If the item you received arrived damaged, doesn’t match the listing description, or if it’s the wrong item, you’re covered under the 100% StarTech Money Back Guarantee.

Offer you a partial refund and let you keep the item – This can be a good compromise when you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase – for example, if it arrived with a minor scratch – but you’re happy to keep it.

Free Shipping returns and refunds – If your order was delivered and there was no shipping fee charged (Free Shipping), StarTech Will refund a partial amount of the total bill, that is after deducting the shipping costs incurred during the free shipping .

there are lots of ways we can help.

 

Returns

You can return to any of our pickup points. Please follow official guidelines from the
Ministry Of Healthy or local area, and wear a face mask covering your nose and
mouth when visiting out pickup points. Thank you for helping us keep our
customers and colleagues safe.

In line
with our returns policy, any products you return will need to be unopened,
unused and in their original packaging, with proof of purchase.

When
returning an item, make sure you have proof of purchase, such as your store
receipt or confirmation email. The item (and any free items that came with the
product) will also need to be:

• unused
(with any tags still attached) • in original packaging • in a resalable
condition

Refunds
will be processed by the original payment method. If you paid on card, it can
take up to 7 days to appear back in your account. PayPal refunds can take up to
30 days.

Please note, for the safety of our customers and colleagues, we’re currently unable to
accept larger 2-man items in-store. You can arrange for collections of large
items, however these are subject to delays:

Exchanges

To
exchange an item, first give us a call or whatsapp us on 0702 312 784 with your proof of purchase.Our customer care agent will let you know if the exchange is possible based on the information you will provide.

Exchanges
are dependent on current stock levels.

If we’re
unable to offer an exchange, we can process a refund via the original payment
method.

If you
paid on card, refunds can take up to 7 days to appear back in your account.
PayPal refunds can he ttake up to 30 days.

 

Faulty items

First, we recommend you check our support link to see if we can solve your issue and save
you the trouble of returning your item.

If you do
need to return a faulty item, you can bring it in to our pickup point on plot
115,Muteesa II RD Ntinda and we’ll process it in accordance with our refund
policy.

We’re
currently unable to accept larger 2-man items in-store. You can arrange for
collections of large items, however these are subject to delays:

Repairs

If
something goes wrong with your product, we may be able to have it repaired or
arrange a spare part. And depending on the product, repairs can often take
place in your home and save you the trouble of returning your item. Sometimes,
calling the after sales helpline can lead to resolving the issue without the
need for a repair

Things to note:

  • Our website and catalogue indicate which items are non-refundable.
  • If you’re returning a DVD,
    music or software product, it must be unused and in its original sealed
    packaging.
  • If the item or packaging has
    been handled excessively, we reserve the right to reduce the amount we
    refund you.
  • Training on how to use the some of the items is not guaranteed.
  • We might ask for the product
    serial number or similar, to check the item was supplied by us.
  • Naturally, none of this
    affects your consumer rights.
